I am Rikke Elverdam. I'm an independent designer, art director & creative consultant. I help companies stand out, by creating quirky concepts and new solutions to their communication.
I am a Danish Designer, Art director and creative consultant based in Copenhagen. I hold a Master's degree in Visual Communications from the Royal Dansih Academy of Art, along side an AP degree in marketing management.
My strenght and passion is developing concepts and crafting by hand. I get my kick searching for the right twist and finding new methods and materials to make the idea come to life.
Prior to working independently at Vrøvl, I have worked as an Art Director at Saatchi & Saatchi CPH, W20 and 2+1 Idebureau. I also had the pleasure of spending time as an intern at Sagmeister & Walsh and Substance Hk. During this time, I have worked with everything advertising and graphic design, from visual identities and photo shoots to concepts for TV-comercials and SOME.
At Vrøvl I work either idenpendently or teaming up with some of my favorite creatives to form a team skilled to solve the project at hand.

I often gets asked to work for free, and yes sometimes I do. Feel free to send me an email asking for free work if you are representing WWF, Danmarks Naturfredningsforening, Red Barnet, UNICEF, Mødrehjælpen or a similar Non-profit oranisation working for the preservation of nature or the protection of children.
